The Rocket Ship is really a vehicle to tell any story you can think of in a bizarre and unique context. All information about the Rocket Ship is intentionally left very flexible and ambiguous, allowing a lot of freedom in deciding what is possible. Since the experimental humans are explorers on an immense world that is constantly in flux, there is enormous potential for a new writer to take off in a completely new direction.

So feel free to do something totally new.

If you want to write but don't know where to start, I recommend that you just read what is written and allow your mind to wander. You may find yourself asking questions like:

• What does this part mean...?
• What about this aspect...?
• What if...?

Use this as a springboard for your own ideas. What if the creatures of the Tentacula Desert left the desert? Where does Natnat the Gimberbug sleep at night? What would it be like if the Soma Sisters traveled to Deenmark? Write according to your curiosity.
